Phyla nodiflora

Phyla nodiflora, commonly known as frog fruit, is a low-growing, spreading perennial with small, bright green leaves forming dense mats. In summer it produces tiny, clustered white flowers with pink tinges, creating a delicate, ground-covering display along pond margins and damp soils.

This cultivar is valuable for pollinators and helps stabilise wet soils while providing shelter for small wildlife. Its creeping, mat-forming habit and tolerance of consistently moist or shallowly submerged soil make it ideal for pond edges, wet borders, and naturalistic water gardens.
