Pond Lily
Hardy water lilies grown on our own beds and sold by the size class that matters on site — how deep the water is. Pick the class that fits the pond and every variety in it will settle at the right depth.
Choose by planting depth
Lily size classes are a depth guide, not a pot size.

Depth is measured to the basket
Water depth means the distance from the top of the planting basket to the water surface, not the depth of the pond. Start a young lily shallow and lower it as the leaves reach the surface.
Sun, and still water
Lilies want five hours of direct sun and no moving water. Keep them well away from a fountain or a waterfall — splash on the pads is the usual reason a lily sulks.
