Echinodorus latifolius

Echinodorus latifolius, commonly known as the Broad Leaf Sword Plant, is an impressive aquatic plant characterized by its wide, long leaves that provide a lush backdrop in larger aquariums. Its broad foliage is vibrant green, creating a striking contrast with finer-leaved plants. This species is easy to care for and adapts well to a variety of water conditions, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. Echinodorus latifolius thrives in nutrient-rich substrates and benefits from CO2 supplementation, which promotes vigorous growth and larger leaves. With moderate to high lighting, this plant flourishes, adding height and a natural look to aquascapes.
