Fritillaria meleagris

Fritillaria meleagris, commonly known as snakeshead fritillary, is a delicate, bulbous perennial with slender, strap-shaped green leaves. In spring, it produces nodding, bell-shaped flowers with a distinctive checkered pattern in shades of purple and white, creating a charming and unusual display in meadows or borders.
