Hemianthus sp. "Monte Carlo'

Hemianthus callitrichoides, commonly known as Dwarf Baby Tears, is a highly sought-after aquatic plant prized for its fine, delicate leaves that create a lush carpet effect in aquariums. This plant is one of the smallest available and is perfect for foreground planting, where it can provide a beautiful green mat that enhances the overall aesthetic of the tank. Dwarf Baby Tears require good lighting and nutrient-rich substrate to thrive, and while they can grow without CO2, supplementation will significantly enhance their growth rate and density. With moderate to high lighting, Hemianthus callitrichoides flourishes, making it a favorite among aquascapers looking to create a vibrant and natural-looking underwater landscape.
