Iris pseudacorus 'Holden's Child'

Iris pseudacorus 'Holden's Child', commonly known as Holden's Child yellow flag iris, is a clump-forming marginal aquatic perennial with upright, sword-shaped green leaves that create strong vertical structure in wet gardens. In late spring to early summer it produces soft pale yellow flowers, lighter and more delicate in tone than the typical species, giving a refined appearance along pond margins.

This cultivar thrives in consistently wet or shallowly submerged soil and supports pollinators such as bees while contributing to wetland biodiversity. Its vigorous, spreading habit and tolerance of waterlogged conditions make it well suited to pond edges, marshy ground, and naturalistic planting schemes.
