Phyllanthus fluitans

Phyllanthus fluitans, commonly known as Floating Leaf Phyllanthus, is an attractive floating aquatic plant known for its unique, rounded leaves that float gracefully on the water's surface. The plant's lush green foliage provides excellent cover for fish and helps reduce algae growth by providing shade. This species is ideal for floating placement, where its expansive growth can create a natural and serene look in any aquarium. Phyllanthus fluitans is easy to care for and adapts well to various water conditions, making it a popular choice among aquarists. It thrives in nutrient-rich substrates but can grow well without CO2 supplementation. With moderate to high lighting, this plant flourishes, contributing to a vibrant and lively aquatic environment.
