Primula vialii

Primula vialii, commonly known as Vial's primrose, is a distinctive herbaceous perennial admired for its unusual flower spikes, which emerge as deep red buds before gradually opening from the base to reveal vivid purple florets. This striking two-tone display rises above clumps of fresh green, lance-shaped foliage, creating a strong vertical accent in damp borders, bog gardens, and pond margins.
