Euphorbia palustris

Euphorbia palustris, commonly known as marsh spurge, is a clump-forming perennial with upright stems and narrow, dark green leaves that turn reddish in autumn. In late spring to early summer, it produces clusters of bright lime-green, cup-shaped flowers (cyathia) that add subtle, long-lasting colour above the foliage.

The flowers provide nectar for bees and other pollinators, giving this plant ecological value. Its upright, moisture-loving habit makes it ideal for pond edges, damp borders, and naturalistic wetland plantings where structure and seasonal interest are needed.
